Carpal Tunnel Self-Treatment

Here is a quick self-treatment guide from Dr. Cerami on how to use taping to help reduce Carpal Tunnel strain.  Do this before going to bed every night.

Hold thumb and little finger together with the hand in 30 degrees of extension (hand-shake position), creating a carpal tunnel (crevice in the palm of the hand).

Wrap electrical tape twice around the mid metacarpals to secure this position.

You will still have full use of fingers, but the carpal tunnel is relieved of pressure, allowing recovery of the entrapped nerve.
