Combining the BEST treatments for the BEST outcomes in the shortest time

Different musculoskeletal problems require different treatments to solve the problem in the shortest amount of time.  Dr. Cerami and Dr. Guiglotto have 47 years of experience between them and though they are chiropractors, they understand that the adjustment alone in most cases will not give the sustainable results that patients are looking for.  This is why Utah Sports and Wellness has a comprehensive approach to musculoskeletal problems.  As the word “musculoskeletal” indicates, muscle and bone issues must be addressed to solve the problem. Remember, once a tissue is injured it almost always has a weakness that needs to be addressed from time to time.  Depending on the length of time between when the area is damaged and when treatment is received, different amounts of scar tissue and adaptation will have set in.  At Utah Sports and Wellness we use FSM (Frequency Specific Microcurrent), Graston, and specific biomechanical adjustments to treat the scar tissue, adhesions and adaptations that have set in. The possible next step is a muscle evaluation to determine which muscles have “shut down” in the damaged area as well as positional changes that have occurred due to certain adaptations.  A technique called AMIT (Advanced Muscle Integration Technique) is then used to correct, or “turn on”, the muscles that were determined to be aberrant. Finally, home exercises can be used to help restore the area to its proper function and movement.  No time is wasted on a treatment that is not delivering the required results.  As soon as it is determined that a treatment is not yielding optimal results, changes are made to insure that continued progress is maintained at the speed expected based on the damage to the area.   If you would like to know more about what we do give us a call at 801 486 1818 to speak with one of the doctors about your particular problem and our experiences with it before you schedule an appointment.  Check out some of the websites below to familiarize yourself with each treatment and inform yourself about the research that has been conducted regarding their efficacy.
