Dr. Cerami personally started under chiropractic care in 1972 and after seeing the profound impact it had on his health and personal growth, decided to dedicate his life to helping people be all they can be through better health and wellness.
Dr. Cerami began his professional career in 1985 in New jersey as an associate with Dr. Michael Hatrak. They soon built one of the largest practices in the Philadelphia area. Dr. Cerami opened his own practice in 1987 in rural Pennsylvania which focused on family and maintenance care.
In 1995 Dr. Cerami moved to Salt Lake City so his wife could complete her medical residency at the University of Utah. Over the past 20 years, Dr. Cerami has studied with some of the best minds in sports medicine which has afforded him a treatment program that gets results quickly. He employs the Synergy Release System developed by Dr. Hatrak and used on over 400 NFL players including the 2018 Super Bowl Champions, the Philadelphia Eagles.
In addition to serving his community, Dr. Cerami has had the good fortune of taking care of some amazing people; dozens of NFL players, World Champion shooter Doug Koenig, 2 Oscar winners, Tour De France riders and stages winners Tyler Farrah and Christian Vande Velde, MLB MVP Ryan Howard and more.
He consults regularly with doctors around the country that work exclusively with professional athletes, so he can stay up with the latest research and techniques. Dr. Cerami is proud to have been part of the medical team in 2010, 2011, and 2012 as the solo Chiropractor for The Tour of Utah. Dr. Cerami attends numerous conferences and clinics every year and is the only physician in Salt Lake City that uses the Vitaeris 320 Hyperbaric oxygen chamber, as well as Frequency Specific Microcurrent. He is also certified in Advanced Muscle Integration Technique (AMIT) and Network Spinal Analysis.
Dr. Cerami actively continues his post-graduate education through frequent participation in seminars on chiropractic, sports medicine, energy medicine, nutrition, and other healing disciplines. And as a triathlete for over 24 years, you know you’ll be working with an athlete that understands athlete’s needs. Dr. Cerami is very concerned about all aspects of his patient’s health and “walks his talk”. He meditates regularly and has been a vegetarian since 1990.
